Job Description

A travel opportunity for a School Social Worker is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Zion, IL. This onsite position offers a 37.5-hour workweek supporting students from kindergarten through 5th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive social work services to support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to address student needs.
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and advocate for students within the school system.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement.
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children (K-5).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel and work onsite in Zion, IL.
