Job Description
A travel opportunity for a School Social Worker is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Zion, IL. This onsite position offers a 37.5-hour workweek supporting students from kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive social work services to support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to address student needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and advocate for students within the school system.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children (K-5).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel and work onsite in Zion, IL.
