A school-based social worker position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in Zion, IL, supporting students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week onsite within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to K-5 students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student well-being.
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and facilitate counseling sessions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school policies and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement.
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage a caseload while prioritizing student needs.
