Key Qualifications:

• Hold active state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Professional experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and counseling
• Ability to build rapport with a diverse student population
• Knowledge of special education processes and behavioral intervention strategies
• Driven to communicate and collaborate with school staff and parents/guardians

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support to individual students and small groups
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and recommend interventions
• Assist in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Partner with teachers and administrators to foster an inclusive, positive school climate
• Deliver crisis response and intervention as needed, supporting the overall well-being of students
• Advocate for student success by connecting families with community resources
• Maintain accurate, confidential records consistent with school policy and legal guidelines
