Key Qualifications:
- Hold active state licensure as a School Social Worker
- Professional experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and counseling
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse student population
- Knowledge of special education processes and behavioral intervention strategies
- Driven to communicate and collaborate with school staff and parents/guardians
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support to individual students and small groups
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and recommend interventions
- Assist in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Partner with teachers and administrators to foster an inclusive, positive school climate
- Deliver crisis response and intervention as needed, supporting the overall well-being of students
- Advocate for student success by connecting families with community resources
- Maintain accurate, confidential records consistent with school policy and legal guidelines
