Make a significant impact as a school social worker, providing essential support to 5th and 6th grade students in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, in-person contract role is perfect for professionals passionate about fostering students academic and social-emotional success. Youll play a crucial part in implementing and documenting IEPs, as well as delivering targeted support services to those who need them most.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work required
• Valid School Social Worker credentials
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Deep understanding of IEP implementation and associated documentation
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers
• Availability for full-time, onsite work

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct support services to students in grades 5 and 6
• Participate actively in the development and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Document services, maintain accurate records, and meet compliance requirements
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to build effective strategies and interventions
• Address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs through counseling and crisis intervention as required
• Foster positive relationships within the school community
• Provide ongoing progress reports and advocate for students well-being
