Two contract opportunities are available near White Cloud, MI: one offers a K-12 caseload across various grade levels, and the other focuses exclusively on supporting high school students. Both positions provide a meaningful way to support academic and social-emotional growth.
Desired Background:
- Valid licensure as a Social Worker required
- Prior experience in school environments (elementary, middle, or high school) strongly preferred
- Skilled in providing individual and group counseling to a diverse student population
- Ability to develop and implement intervention plans based on students unique needs
- Experience collaborating with educators, families, and community resources
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- For the high school position, experience addressing adolescent developmental and social challenges is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support services to assigned students
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention strategies
- Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution for students and families
- Serve as an advocate for students, promoting inclusivity and access to resources
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administration to promote a positive school climate
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school, district, and legal regulations
- Participate in IEP or 504 meetings as required, supporting the holistic needs of each student
