Your expertise will foster a positive learning environment, addressing the diverse needs of students and helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral management techniques
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and small group counseling sessions to support student emotional well-being
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to assess student needs and create tailored interventions
- Serve as a valuable liaison between home, school, and community resources
- Provide crisis intervention services and support students experiencing trauma or significant stress
- Lead workshops and classroom lessons promoting social skills, coping strategies, and resilience
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies and legal requirements

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
