Position Details
Job Type: Full-Time, Full School Year contract
Caseload: K-12 grade - Conducting Evaluations: Initials, re-evals, annuals, FBAs and BIPs
Location: West Haven, CT
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students in need of support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to improve student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Connect families with community resources and support services
- Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
- Support attendance improvement and behavioral intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
- Connecticut Certification in Social Work (071)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $61.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
