Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and current licensure as a School Social Worker
• Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong understanding of student development, family dynamics, and crisis intervention
• Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and social/emotional learning programs is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns
• Develop and implement targeted interventions and behavior plans to enhance student well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to identify student needs and implement supportive strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational and behavioral goals
• Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and promote a positive school climate
• Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with school policies and professional standards
