A school social work position is available for candidates holding a Masters degree and full Michigan licensure. This contract role involves providing intervention support to Special Education students in small groups and individual settings within K-12 schools.

Location: Waterford, MI (Onsite preferred; virtual option available for Michigan residents)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work services to Special Education students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with caseloads ranging from approximately 35 to 45 students.
• Provide intervention support in small or moderate group settings and one-on-one sessions.
• Collaborate with school staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
• Maintain compliance with state requirements and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work.
• Full Michigan Department of Education (MDE) Social Worker Certification or Social Worker Certificate with completed application process.
• Valid Michigan State Social Worker license through LARA.
• Experience working with school-aged children and Special Education populations.
• Ability to work onsite preferred; Michigan residency required for virtual candidates due to state fingerprinting regulations.

Work Schedule:

• 35 hours per week, contract position.
• Immediate start available, through June 12, 2026.
