A full-time Social Worker position is available in a high school setting located in Warwick, RI. This role involves working with a diverse student population to support their social, emotional, and academic needs. The position is contract-based within the school environment, focusing on providing essential social work services to high school students.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and address students' social and emotional challenges impacting their academic success
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to promote student well-being
- Manage a high school caseload, providing counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings
- Proven ability to manage a high school caseload effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to coordinate services
- Ability to work independently within a contract role
