A full-time Social Worker position is available in a high school setting located in Warwick, RI. This role involves working with a diverse student population to support their social, emotional, and academic needs. The position is contract-based within the school environment, focusing on providing essential social work services to high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students' social and emotional challenges impacting their academic success
• Develop and implement individualized support plans for students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to promote student well-being
• Manage a high school caseload, providing counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings
• Proven ability to manage a high school caseload effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of community resources and ability to coordinate services
• Ability to work independently within a contract role
