A school social worker position is available to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This role focuses on providing social, emotional, and behavioral support to enhance the overall well-being and academic success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address students social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop supportive plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary
- Connect students and families with community resources and services
- Advocate for students rights and support equity within the school environment
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work or related field
- Appropriate licensure or certification as a school social worker
