This contract position is ideal for a certified School Social Worker seeking impactful part-time work, running from July 7th through August 6th. Key Qualifications:
- Active School Social Worker Certification (no emergency or temporary licenses)
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly in special education or autism support preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver group and individual social work services to students participating in the Autism Summer School program
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to develop and implement supportive interventions
- Assist in progress monitoring and documentation of student goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
- Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding student social-emotional development
Schedule and Details:
- Contract position: July 7, 2026 August 6, 2026
- Part-time hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:00am 12:00pm
