Located in Warren, MI, this contract position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students as a School Social Worker. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 15, 2026, on-site at a school serving both General Education and Special Education populations. The role requires delivering social-emotional support, behavior interventions, and coordinating 504 Plans to meet diverse student needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing social-emotional counseling and behavioral interventions to students
• Serving as the 504 Plan Coordinator, ensuring compliance and accommodation implementation
• Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Managing a caseload of students with various academic and emotional challenges

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Masters degree in Social Work
• Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills tailored to youth
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work cooperatively within a collaborative educational team
