Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state licensure required for School Social Work
  • Experience in a K-12 setting preferred, with ability to work across elementary, middle, and high school environments
  • Strong understanding of social-emotional development, behavioral interventions, and individualized student plans
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • Adept at conducting assessments, writing reports, and crafting effective intervention strategies

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments to identify emotional, social, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with educational teams and families
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services to help students overcome barriers to learning
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and support service referrals as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to advocate for student needs and coordinate resources
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to maximize positive outcomes
