Job Description

A specialized opportunity is available for licensed clinical professionals with expertise in school-based social work and therapy. This role involves working within a school-based program focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and residential services, providing comprehensive support to students with complex needs. The program demands a highly engaged professional able to contribute effectively to an involved, dynamic environment.

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA and Culver City, CA (Travel assignments within these locations)
Schedule: 16-20 hours per week, available ASAP through the end of the school year
Position Titles: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)

Qualifications:

  • Valid California licensure or certification as LCSW, LMFT, ACSW, or AMFT
  • Experience working with school programs, particularly those focused on ASD or residential services
  • Strong clinical assessment, counseling, and case management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy services to students within the school-based program
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of children with ASD and other complex challenges
  • Work closely with educators and residential staff to coordinate supportive care strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute clinical expertise
