Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and community agencies
• Dedication to promoting diversity, equity, and student advocacy

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student success
• Conduct social-developmental assessments and participate in IEP meetings
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community resources
• Support crisis intervention efforts
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to address student needs
• Maintain clear, confidential documentation in compliance with regulations
