As a school-based social worker, you will offer essential services within elementary grade levels, focusing on both individual and group needs informed by data and direct observation. This full-time role spans 35 hours per week and runs through May 28th, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) required; eligibility to pursue LCSW with supervision provided
• Prior experience in school settings or with youth populations in a counseling or social work capacity
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate individual and group counseling in an educational setting
• Crisis intervention experience and strong communication skills
• Collaborative mindset for working alongside educators and administrators
• Passion for supporting students social, emotional, and behavioral growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver proactive support to grade-level and small groups based on assessed needs
• Design and provide lessons for small groups or entire grade levels, tailored by student data
• Conduct both structured individual counseling and dynamic group sessions
• Respond promptly to crisis situations as a member of the school's support team
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop integrated strategies for diverse learner needs
• Maintain thorough records of all interventions and communications, ensuring compliance and privacy
