Job Description
A full-time Social Worker position is available to provide telehealth and in-person services within a school setting, focusing on supporting students in grades 9 through 12. This role is based in White Rock, New Mexico, and operates under a contract arrangement.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive social work services to high school students via telehealth and onsite visits
- Conducting assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Developing and implementing intervention plans collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
- Providing crisis intervention and support when necessary
- Facilitating referrals to community resources and mental health services
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Active License in Social Work (LMSW or LCSW) valid in New Mexico
- Experience working with adolescents in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual service delivery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and educational professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
