Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings, student support meetings, and case coordination
Assist students with coping skills, behavioral challenges, peer relationships, and school adjustment
Connect students and families with appropriate community resources and support services
Maintain accurate documentation and student records
Qualifications:
Appropriate Michigan School Social Worker licensure/certification
Previous school-based social work experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Comfortable providing services through a virtual platform
Ability to build strong relationships with students and families remotely
