Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Michigan Social Work certification (MI SW certification) required
• Prior experience working within school settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with intervention strategies and crisis support for diverse student populations
• Comfort working with K-12 age groups and tailoring services to developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students across all grade levels
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual students or groups
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and outside agencies to enhance student achievement and well-being
• Facilitate communication between home, school, and external partners to ensure consistent support for students
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as a vital member of the educational team
• Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting mental health awareness and resources
