Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings is preferred
• Strong understanding of child development and social-emotional learning strategies
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide crisis intervention, counseling, and case management services
• Skilled at working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student achievement and well-being
• Provide direct counseling services individually and in small groups
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to enhance student support
• Offer crisis response and intervention as needed
• Facilitate connections to community resources and outside agencies for students and families
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
