Job Description
This position is for a School Psychologist serving a high school in Taos, NM, available on a contract basis through the end of the current school year. The role offers a hybrid onsite work environment with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
- Support high school students academic, social, and emotional development
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid New Mexico license for School Psychologist
- Experience working within a high school setting is preferred
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
