Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker

• Strong communication and advocacy skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop service plans, and track progress
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
• Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community resources
• Facilitate crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings and serve on school-based teams as required
• Lead small groups and classroom sessions on social-emotional learning topics
