Job Description

Step into a fulfilling opportunity as a Behavior Coach/Interventionist, supporting students social, emotional, and behavioral growth in a vibrant school environment near Surprise, AZ. This contract role runs through May 20, 2026, offering 40 hours per week on a consistent daytime schedule. Youll work closely with a diverse student population, collaborating with educators, counselors, and families to make a positive impact.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
  • OR Bachelors in education/special education with 5+ years working with students with behavioral/emotional disabilities
  • OR Masters in education/special education with 3+ years experience in behavior-focused roles
  • Must obtain and keep a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Skilled in ABA therapy techniques, behavioral interventions, and creating supportive environments
  • Able to build rapport with students across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver behavioral intervention strategies to individual students and small groups
  • Support and mentor students exhibiting behavioral or emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and school-based teams to implement intervention plans
  • Foster a positive, nurturing climate that promotes healthy social and emotional development
  • Monitor progress, document interventions, and adjust strategies as needed
  • Serve as a reliable resource for staff and families regarding behavioral supports
