Job Description

This position offers an opportunity for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Sunnyvale, CA. The role involves providing social work services to one assigned school with a caseload tailored to the age group that best fits your expertise. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with a weekly commitment of approximately 30 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social work services to students across K-12 grades, addressing mental health, behavioral, and social challenges.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement student support plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children from kindergarten through high school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.

Caseload: One school with four openings available
Work Schedule: 30 hours per week
