Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure in School Social Work
• Prior experience supporting students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong knowledge of community resources and crisis intervention techniques
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to students facing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
• Assess individual student needs and develop intervention plans
• Collaborate with school staff and families to foster student success
• Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment
• Help facilitate small group sessions and classroom guidance lessons
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support positive student outcomes
