Help make a positive impact in the lives of students by providing essential social work services in a supportive school environment on a contract basis. This position near Stayton, OR, offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school environment
- Strong understanding of child/adolescent development and behavioral health
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organized documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in coordination with teachers, staff, and families
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and monitor progress
- Act as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources
- Lead or participate in prevention and crisis intervention activities
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and legal guidelines
