Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure and certification as a School Social Worker.
• Experience working within elementary, middle, and high school settings.
• Proven ability to manage diverse caseloads and age groups.
• Strong collaborative skills for partnering with educators, administration, and families.
• Understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral support methods in a school context.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop tailored support plans.
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals for appropriate resources.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school counselors on intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP/504 planning as needed.
• Lead or participate in preventive programming on topics such as bullying, mental health, and social skill development.
• Serve as a support advocate for students, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
