Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
  • Valid social work license to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Experience in a school setting, specifically within elementary grades, preferred
  • Strong understanding of emotional and behavioral support strategies for children
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Passion for advocating for students social-emotional well-being
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate, confidential records

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social work services to K-4 students requiring emotional support
  • Deliver crisis intervention, small group, and individual counseling as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective support plans
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Serve as a resource for school personnel and families on social-emotional health topics
