Job Description

A contract position is available for licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) to provide essential social work services in a K-12 school setting in Santa Clara, CA. This role will support one school with a caseload tailored to best fit students across all grade levels. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical social work services to students K-12 based on individual needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer counseling interventions
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to support student well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required; Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential not necessary
  • Experience working with school-age children (K-12) preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload and provide direct therapeutic services
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Must pass district-required background checks and onboarding procedures

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Part-time, 30 hours per week
