Youll serve a single school in the San Jose area, helping learners of diverse backgrounds and agestailoring your expertise based on each student groups unique needs.
Open to immediate start through the end of the school year, this position offers 30 hours per week with a manageable caseload and an accommodating panel interview process. As a valued team member, youll enjoy seamless onboarding and prompt hiring decisions, usually within 24-28 hours following your interview.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid LCSW licensure (no PPS credential required)
- Experience in school-based settings or working with children/adolescents is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills for remote service delivery
- Comfortable navigating virtual platforms and upholding confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic support, crisis intervention, and counseling for K-12 students via remote sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement strategies promoting student success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education and behavioral plans
- Deliver culturally responsive interventions to address social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
