Job Description

A school social work opportunity is available in San Jose, CA, serving students across K-12 grades. Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a positive school climate through crisis intervention and prevention strategies
  • Document services and maintain compliance with confidentiality and professional standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred, though PPS credential is not required
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices and supporting diverse student populations

Details:

  • Location: San Jose, CA
  • Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: Current school year, with potential for contract-to-hire
  • Interview Format: Remote panel interviews with rapid decision-making (typically within 24-28 hours)
