A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist near San Diego, CA, working with diverse student populations in Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in school psychology required
- Previous experience within a school setting preferred
- Comfortable working with students across all grade levels (TK-12)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Highlights:
- Provide psychological assessments, intervention, and case management for a caseload of about 1-2 students per month
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans and support strategies
- Promote a healthy, supportive school climate by offering guidance on social-emotional and behavioral issues
- Support the diverse needs of students during this temporary assignment, beginning as soon as possible
- Flexible scheduling: 20-24 hours weekly, across 3-5 days
