Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a school social worker
  • Previous experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, or high school levels
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to assess student needs and develop intervention strategies
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing a dynamic caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling for students coping with various social, emotional, or academic challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to provide comprehensive support plans
  • Lead crisis intervention and referral to appropriate community resources as needed
  • Promote diversity, equity, and respectful school culture
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and reporting consistent with school and state guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
