Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid licensure as a School Social Worker in Minnesota
• Experience supporting students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Familiarity with IEP processes, Section 504, and special education services
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability in diverse educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct social-emotional assessments and provide direct interventions to students
• Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution support
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions

• Support and advocate for students academic, social, and emotional growth
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
