This contract opportunity allows you to work directly with elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them thrive both academically and personally. You'll use your expertise to guide students through challenging situations, strengthen school-family relationships, and advocate for holistic well-being across the school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified as a School Social Worker.
- Experience providing support in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings.
- Background in case management, crisis intervention, or counseling for children and adolescents.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy abilities.
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, teachers, and administration.
- Understanding of resources and services available to support diverse student needs.
- Familiarity with education law, IEP processes, and student support teams is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing student needs and developing intervention plans.
- Serving as a resource to staff, students, and families for crisis intervention and counseling.
- Facilitating small groups or one-on-one sessions with students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other professionals on multidisciplinary teams.
- Connecting families to community resources and supporting student transitions.
- Maintaining accurate, timely records in compliance with school policies and procedures.
