A full-time social worker position is available within an elementary school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This W-2 contract role requires onsite work throughout the school year, providing critical social-emotional and behavioral support to students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct social-emotional and behavioral support services to students both individually and in small groups
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental factors that may affect learning
- Collaborating with school staff and families to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by providing social work services tailored to their specific goals
Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:
- Masters degree in social work
- Active Minnesota-issued school social worker license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
