Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience providing social work services in a school or similar setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Skilled in developing and implementing intervention plans
• Knowledge of community resources and best practices in mental health support

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and barriers to learning
• Develop and monitor intervention strategies for students and families
• Provide individual and group counseling services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support students
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community agencies
• Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies
• Deliver crisis intervention services and contribute to school safety initiatives
