Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a School Social Worker
- Experience providing direct services in an educational or youth-centered environment
- Expertise in individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and case management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Bilingual skills a plus but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to support students facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop strategies that promote student success
- Respond to crises and provide intervention services as needed
- Create and implement support plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Connect families with community resources and referral services
- Advocate for students and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and state guidelines
