Two exciting opportunities are available: one position serves a dynamic K-12 population, while the other focuses exclusively on a high school caseload. As a valued team member, youll play a vital role in promoting student well-being, collaborating with educators and families, and fostering an inclusive school environment.
What Youll Contribute:
- Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and behavioral intervention strategies
- Ability to develop effective relationships with students, staff, and families
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 Plans, and compliance standards in educational settings
What Youll Do:
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health
- Conduct assessments and participate in team meetings to determine student needs
- Coordinate services and referrals between the school, home, and community agencies
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to implement interventions and support plans
- Advocate for students and families to ensure access to resources and educational opportunities
- Maintain timely records and support compliance with relevant policies and procedures
