Key Qualifications:

• Valid school social work credential or eligibility to obtain certification for California schools
• Experience providing counseling and case management services within a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of diverse student needs, including at-risk populations and students with disabilities
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Adept at developing and implementing student intervention plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling for students experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Facilitate communication and resource access among families, school personnel, and community agencies
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and recommend appropriate services, interventions, or referrals
• Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and 504 planning processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in preventative education initiatives as needed
