We are seeking skilled Social Workers to provide essential services for either K-12 students or to focus exclusively on a high school caseload. What youll bring:
- Valid credentials to practice as a School Social Worker (state certification/licensure required)
- Experience working in school settings, including elementary, middle, and/or high school
- Expertise in case management, crisis intervention, and collaborative problem-solving
- Strong communication and advocacy skills to partner with families, teachers, and administrators
- Commitment to promoting equity, emotional wellness, and social-emotional learning
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student and campus needs
- Understanding of behavior intervention strategies and community resources
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing direct counseling and support to students in individual, group, and/or classroom settings
- Collaborating with school staff, special education teams, and parents to develop and monitor interventions
- Conducting assessments and maintaining confidential, detailed documentation
- Facilitating connections to community resources for students and families
- Supporting the creation of positive school climates and safe learning environments
- Participating in IEP and 504 meetings and contributing to student success plans
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in school social work
