  • Valid credentials to practice as a School Social Worker (state certification/licensure required)
  • Experience working in school settings, including elementary, middle, and/or high school

  • Conducting assessments and maintaining confidential, detailed documentation
  • Facilitating connections to community resources for students and families
  • Supporting the creation of positive school climates and safe learning environments
  • Participating in IEP and 504 meetings and contributing to student success plans
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in school social work
