As a school-based social worker, youll work in a welcoming contract position where your expertise guides students and families through challenges, fosters positive change, and helps create an inclusive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current social work license or certification valid for practice in educational settings
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with students in elementary, middle, and/or high schools
- Strong background in crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support
- Familiarity with IEP meetings, special education processes, and school-based advocacy
- Excellent communication skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt interventions for diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic, social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Consult with educators and families to devise and implement intervention plans
- Assist in developing social-emotional learning programs and facilitate classroom presentations
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to IEPs and supporting at-risk students
- Advocate for student well-being and access to community resources
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with regulations

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
