Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work
• Current Michigan licensure as a Social Worker
• Proven experience working with K-12 students within school settings
• Strong clinical assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to partner effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support to students across general and special education populations
• Serve as 504 Plan Coordinator, overseeing plan development, implementation, and compliance
• Implement behavior intervention strategies for individual students and groups
• Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, families, and outside agencies to ensure student success
• Address crises with empathy and effective problem-solving, promoting a safe school climate
• Participate in team meetings, develop IEPs, and support staff in creating effective interventions
