As a valued member of a dedicated school community, youll work on site, handling a caseload of approximately 40 students, with flexibility as needs evolve. This part-time role, offering a commitment of 15-20 hours per week within the academic year, brings the chance to make a measurable difference for students and their families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Social Work with current LCSW licensure required
- Previous experience in school-based settings working with students with a variety of disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
- Ability to develop and implement individual and group interventions
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as within multi-disciplinary teams
- Availability to be on site as required by the program
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct social and emotional assessments for students on the caseload
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans to support student success
- Collaborate with families, educators, and community providers to facilitate access to resources
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide ongoing consultation to staff
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of all services provided
- Serve as an advocate for students, promoting their well-being within the educational environment
