What you'll bring to the table:

  • Current licensure or certification as a Social Worker (LCSW, MSW, or equivalent as required)

  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, behavioral interventions, and crisis response
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, counselors, and administrators
  • Skilled in case management, assessments, and maintaining detailed documentation
  • Compassion and cultural competence when working with diverse student populations

Role responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to unique student needs
  • Collaborate with faculty, family members, and external agencies to coordinate care and support
  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and ongoing guidance as situations arise
  • Advocate for student well-being, connecting families with relevant community resources
  • Participate in the creation and review of individualized education plans (IEPs) as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards within the school setting
