Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure and/or certification for school-based social work
• Previous experience working within a school environment strongly preferred

• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, individual and group counseling
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and community agencies
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and small group counseling sessions to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Facilitate communication between home, school, and community service providers
• Develop and implement intervention plans for students requiring additional support
• Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide resources, referrals, and support for students and families as needed
• Advocate for students educational and social-emotional needs
• Offer professional guidance and consultation to teachers and administrators
• Promote a positive and inclusive school climate
