A licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings is needed to cover a leave of absence for an elementary school caseload in Portsmouth, RI. This travel assignment runs from January 27th through March 28th, with a possibility to extend through the end of the school year. The position involves providing direct social work services to elementary-aged students and maintaining accurate documentation for Medicaid reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group social work services to elementary students
- Monitor and support student behavioral and emotional needs
- Maintain detailed service logs to meet Medicaid billing requirements
- Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student well-being
- Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding processes as required
Qualifications:
- Rhode Island Social Worker license required
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary students
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation for reimbursement purposes
- National background check with fingerprints required prior to start
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Assignment Details:
- Location: Portsmouth, Rhode Island
- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
