Job Description

A licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings is needed to cover a leave of absence for an elementary school caseload in Portsmouth, RI. This travel assignment runs from January 27th through March 28th, with a possibility to extend through the end of the school year. The position involves providing direct social work services to elementary-aged students and maintaining accurate documentation for Medicaid reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group social work services to elementary students
  • Monitor and support student behavioral and emotional needs
  • Maintain detailed service logs to meet Medicaid billing requirements
  • Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student well-being
  • Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding processes as required

Qualifications:

  • Rhode Island Social Worker license required
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary students
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation for reimbursement purposes
  • National background check with fingerprints required prior to start
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Assignment Details:
