Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students by providing essential social work services during a key leave coverage period. This contract position spans January 27th through March 28thwith the potential to extend through the end of the school year. You'll be working onsite at one school, located in a scenic, welcoming area, and collaborating with a compassionate, supportive staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct social-emotional and behavioral support services to elementary school students
• Maintaining thorough service documentation for Medicaid reimbursement compliance
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student well-being
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive school environment
• Adhering to district-wide policies, privacy protocols, and professional boundaries

Qualifications for success:

• Valid Rhode Island Social Worker licensure
• Experience or strong interest in the elementary age group within a school setting
• Ability to effectively communicate with young students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to accurate service logging and documentation
• Familiarity with Medicaid service requirements (preferred)
• Successful completion of National BCI background check with fingerprinting prior to start
