Qualifications and Skills:

• Licensed or certified as a School Social Worker (per state requirements)
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, crisis intervention, and special education processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing needs
• Compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct counseling services to students struggling with social, emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to meet individual student needs

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student support plans
• Serve as a liaison and resource for connecting students and families with community services
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of services and student progress
